I have always been told that we want to have an admisphere of fellowship where the newcomer doesn’t feel out of place. I go to the BRANA CAMPOUT and have extra food for anyone not only newcomers who come without either food or money to pay for food. The most important thing is that they feel welcomed. If a newcomer comes and has no money will they be fed just like those who have money to pay for their food. If so will that newcomer feel out of place? At the speakerjam I was charged for a soda and thought that it was out of place maybe I should have something then! We are to be fully self-supporting, does that mean that someone who is not a NA member will eat a hamburger or hot dog for free and me being a member I have to pay?
