If You are New to Narcotics Anonymous – Welcome!
NA Offers a New Way of Life
We are a worldwide fellowship of recovering addicts. We help each other stay clean through a 12-step program of recovery. We have no fees or dues. Our only requirement for membership is a desire to stop using drugs. You are a member when you say you are.
You don’t have to be clean when you get here, but after your first meeting we suggest that you keep coming back and come clean. You don’t have to wait for an overdose or jail sentence to get help from NA, nor is addiction a hopeless condition from which there is no recovery. (more)
Avoid people, places, and things. “Old friends, places, and ideas are often a threat to our recovery. We need to change our playmates, playgrounds, and playthings.” Narcotics Anonymous, the Basic Text
